The secret to more satisfying sex & intimacy for each energy type

Having an undefined sacral center does not mean you have a lower libido...

I remember a couple’s session I facilitated with a projector female and a generator male a few years back. One of the areas they were struggling most was in the bedroom. The generator felt disheartened by the fact that he was always expected to initiate and had convinced himself it was because his partner was no longer attracted to him. The projector, on the other hand, felt insecure about how long it took her to warm up and hesitant to communicate her needs out of fear she would come across as high maintenance. As a result, she found sex to be only moderately enjoyable and wasn’t inspired to initiate more of it.

Needless to say, learning to understand each other’s natural energetics and how this might influence their sex drive was pretty life changing for this couple. It shattered the stories they were each making up about the other’s behavior and gave them a roadmap for how to satisfy one another. Suddenly, the generator understood that his partner was designed to be invited, and that it was essential to create a supportive setting for her to open up…slowly. And the projector realized that her partner’s sex drive was so consistent for a reason; but it didn’t mean there was anything wrong with her.

But more importantly, human design gave them a new language through which to address deeply personal desires in a much less personal way. For example, we talked about the fact that having an undefined sacral center does not necessarily mean you have a lower libido. It simply means that your desires are more variable, less predictable, and highly sensitive to environment. This insight helped the generator embrace his role as the initiator instead of adopt the false narrative that his partner wasn’t interested.

So, I wanted to do a little deep dive into how each energy type is designed to cultivate intimacy and, ultimately, a more rewarding sex life.

SACRALS (aka Generators & Manifesting Generators)

Sacral beings have the greatest potential for sexual stamina because of their defined sacral center. The sacral center rules our life force energy, as well as our desires, creativity, and…sexuality. When this center is defined, you’re designed to have consistent access to sexual energy. As a generator or manifesting generator, you are wired for satisfaction and pleasure, because these sensations enhance your magnetism and overall energy.

However, this does not mean that you’re raring to go 24/7. It simply means that you could be, if (and only if!) you’re exposed to the right stimuli. After all, if you’re a sacral being, it’s essential that you only engage in intimate activities once you experience a physical response to something — a person, a book or a movie, an invitation, a toy, etc. If you don’t wait for your body to respond and force an interaction anyway, it will never feel truly satisfying.
