Become Impossible to Replace
The Age of Differentiation & how to thrive in the New Paradigm
I have a theory.
Over the next decade, the people who thrive won’t necessarily be the smartest. Or the most qualified. Or the ones with the most impressive resumes. Or the ones with the biggest follower counts and email lists.
The people who thrive will be the ones whose work is impossible to separate from who they are.
Not because they know something no one else knows. But because they contribute something no one else can.
I don’t believe humans are wired to “earn a living”.
I believe we’re wired to contribute. To solve problems. To create. To teach. To build. To nurture. To connect. To impact other humans.
And when we’re contributing in a way that’s aligned with who we are—that reflects our unique energetic essence—something magical happens.
We come alive.
We experience the otherworldly high of creating value simply by being ourselves.
And there is nothing (nothing!) that feels more satisfying…addictive…and fulfilling as that.
Why?
BECAUSE THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT OF OUR HUMAN EXISTENCE!!!
This is also why I am personally very excited for the future of work.
Because I have a feeling that “work” will no longer be synonymous with “job”. Instead, our definition of work will expand to mean “contribution.”
AI is quite literally going to force us to monetize what we’re uniquely made for–or become entirely irrelevant, dependent, and unemployable.
So if you want to thrive in the new paradigm and beyond, it’s not about anticipating how AI will shift your business, your industry, or the way we work in general.
(That would be linear, old world type of thinking…)
It’s about getting crystal clear on how you’re uniquely designed to contribute and find a way to profit off of your purpose.
For decades, we’ve been rewarded for moving closer to the norm.
The people who were naturally good at following a standardized playbook—go to school, get the degree, learn the best practices, be productive, be efficient, climb the ladder—tended to do well. And it made sense for the world we were living in (Cross of Planning, IYKYK).
Knowledge was scarce, which made information valuable, and expertise easy to leverage.
As someone who’s always created value through knowledge, I felt right at home in that world. I was a good student. I loved learning. I found it easy to focus, memorize, and regurgitate–all skills that were celebrated.
I built my first business helping companies develop content strategies, write marketing emails, and clarify their messaging. Knowledge and strategic thinking were my competitive advantages…or so I thought.
But the world is changing.
And artificial intelligence isn’t just affecting how we work. It’s changing how we create value…and what is considered valuable. For the first time in history, knowledge and strategic thinking are becoming commoditized.
AI can generate a business plan, a job description, a content calendar, a marketing strategy, or a project proposal in seconds.
And no — I’m not saying it’s as good as yours or mine would be. (Not yet, at least.) I’m also not here to make a moral argument about whether AI is good or bad.
My point is simply this:
My old business is entirely obsolete…but that doesn’t mean I am.
If you want to feel fulfilled by your work in the future— which we all do, because we’re human and that’s the whole point of our human existence — the question is no longer “How do I become more qualified?”
The question is: “What can I contribute that no one else can?”
This is why I’ve become obsessed with the idea of differentiation.
Not differentiation in a marketing-sense. Not manufacturing some exaggerated version of yourself just to capture attention or stand out. I’m talking about becoming more of who you’ve always been. More of the differentiated soul you were meant to be from the very beginning.
Which, ironically, is much harder than it sounds.
Because how are you supposed to know who you’ve always been when you’ve spent decades learning who you were supposed to become in order to fit in — at school, at work, in your family?
We learn very early on — around age six or seven — which parts of ourselves are acceptable, and which parts are too much. Too loud. Too sensitive. Too different. So we adapt. We learn to hide and suppress the parts of ourselves that don’t fit who the world wants us to be.
And then at some point in in your life—usually the point where you’re incredibly frustrated, burned out, overwhelmed, and confused—you’re told to “just be yourself.”
And you want to scream: “WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?”
Fortunately, there are a few tools that can offer a glimpse of your OG nature. And the one that resonated with me so deeply I decided to build my career around it is Human Design.
Human Design was originally called the science of differentiation. And that’s exactly what it is: a map of the way you’re energetically—and economically—differentiated from every other person on earth. It reveals the specific combination of gifts, sensitivities, perspectives, rhythms, and ways of contributing that make you you.
Not so you can put yourself in a box — but so you can stop trying to fit inside everyone else’s.
I’ve been sitting with all of this in my own business lately.
A few weeks ago, one of my teachers—a brilliant, well-respected figure in the Human Design space—launched her own LLM (aka, AI platform) for Human Design. And it’s incredible. It generates charts and interprets them in her signature style: no-nonsense and highly actionable. It also compares two charts, runs analyses on a database of thousands of designs, and answers any question in a personalized, nuanced way.
Unlike most of the AI tools I’d tried for Human Design, it was actually…really good.
And as I sat through the demo, I had one of those everything just changed moments.
The game is no longer about how to compete with AI. Or even how to use it. Those are givens now.
The game is how to become so differentiated that even AI can’t replicate the value you create. Now or ever.
Can AI explain what an Emotional Generator is? Absolutely. Can it summarize the gifts and shadows of Gate 14? Of course. Can it describe your Incarnation Cross? Probably better than I could.
So if I can no longer differentiate myself with the knowledge itself…what’s the value I deliver beyond the knowledge? What’s the value I create with it?
Here’s where I landed:
For me, it’s weaving together Human Design, Gene Keys, neuroscience, nervous system regulation, psychology, leadership, parenting, business strategy, my own lived experience—and, most importantly, my intuition and emotional intelligence—into new, creative frameworks that solve a problem in a clear way.
AI can summarize information. Really well. But it can’t become me. It doesn’t have my reliable gut instincts. It doesn’t have real, lived experiences it can draw on. It can’t read a room or a client…or energy the way I can.
And that’s exactly the point.
So instead of worrying about what AI might replace…I decided to double down on what it never could.
I built a framework to help people uncover what makes them impossible to replace. I’m calling it the Monetize Your Magic Method™. (More about this later!)
And no — it’s not going to be a Human Design 101 course. That’s obsolete now.
It’s a way to translate aspects of your Human Design and your Gene Keys into a blueprint — one that turns the most authentic expression of who YOU are into work that’s deeply fulfilling, financially abundant, and impossible to copy.
I’m not teaching this because I’ve cracked some universal code. Or because I know more about Human Design than anyone else.
But because no one else sees Human Design through exactly the same lens I do.
The same is true for you.
Maybe you’re a designer. There are thousands of designers. Maybe you’re a coach. A teacher. A lawyer. A physician. A writer. An entrepreneur.
Your edge isn’t your job title.
Your edge is the one-of-a-kind way you think, solve problems, communicate, create, and connect. Your edge is shaped by your design, your life story, your unique perspective, the questions that consume you, and your own form of intuition.
No one else has that exact combination. And no one ever will.
Back in my twenties, I wrote a book called The Purpose Playbook, because I was obsessed with one question: why are some people deeply fulfilled by their work, while others spend decades feeling like something is missing?
At the time, I developed what I called “the Sweet Spot Framework”. Your Sweet Spot lies at the intersection of your passions, your gifts, and your potential to contribute (aka, meet a need for someone). Looking back, I was circling the right idea. I just didn’t yet have the language—or the tools—to explain why each person’s contribution looked so different.
Human Design gave me that missing piece.
But over the years, I’ve realized something even bigger. Fulfillment isn’t something we stumble upon. It’s the byproduct of contributing in the way you were designed to — using the gifts that feel most effortless and rewarding to share.
That’s why so many people feel lost even when they’re successful. They’re creating value. Just not in the way they were intended to. They’re following someone else’s playbook.
We don’t come alive when we make money.
We come alive when we contribute something that could only have come from us. It’s the feeling of your puzzle piece finally clicking into the exact right spot.
And when you know what that contribution is, everything changes.
Your purpose stops being a destination…and it becomes a filter.
Should I take this new job? Does it let me express my edge? Should I build this offer? Does it leverage the way I’m naturally designed to create value? Should I say yes to this promotion? This collaboration? This business idea? Will it let me contribute in the way that makes me come alive?
When you can answer those questions, your career becomes far less reactive. You stop chasing opportunities that merely promise success and start choosing the ones that align with who you are.
That’s what makes you resilient. That’s what makes you future-proof. Because your contribution isn’t confined to one job, one business, or one industry. It’s something you carry with you wherever you go.
Now let me be direct (I’m a Dutchie after all 😉): money matters.
It creates freedom. Security. Choice.
But money without fulfillment still feels like a trap—just with a better view and a more comfortable seat. And yet fulfillment without sustainability isn’t enough, either.
In the new paradigm, your work should do both. It should make you come alive — and sustain the life you’re building.
I don’t think those are competing goals. I think they’re deeply connected. Because when you contribute in the way only you can, you create extraordinary value — and throughout history, people who create extraordinary value have always found a way to be rewarded for it.
In a world where more and more can be copied, automated, and generated, our greatest advantage isn’t becoming better than everyone else.
It’s becoming more undeniably ourselves.
If you’re ready to become impossible to replace...
I’ve been quietly building something for you.
Monetize Your Magic™ is a six-week experience designed to help you uncover your unique edge and transform it into a career or business that’s impossible to replicate, deeply fulfilling and financially abundant.
It’s the framework I wish I’d had years ago. One that combines Human Design, Gene Keys, practical business strategy, and everything I’ve learned helping thousands of people translate who they are into how they contribute — and earn a living.
If you’d like to be the first to hear when doors open—and follow along as I continue exploring what it means to thrive in the Age of Differentiation—I would love to have you.

Love this!
I loved everything you shared, and I really love how HD was originally called the science of differentiation! So cool! I often find myself thinking that I am too diverse and that I need to narrow my scope, but reading this really helped me see that I am just the way I am meant to be and all aspects of me make me more marketable. Thank you for this great perspective!
